Is anyone playing any other games
this year?
-
You're only asking Steve, because you are wearing your Mr. Jingles outfit for the Spinespur LARP.
-
Don't judge me cause I can
take my gaming to next level.
So is it just warzone and chronopia
this time around?
Not that it's a bad thing mind you :p
-
We will see.
No more epic Battletech games man. While a blast, we took far too long with it. :)
-
I could setup a Car Wars arena. Silent Death is an option, as is Firestorm: Armada. There are always boardgames; Muchkin, MunchkinQuest, Axis & Allies: Revised Edition, Memoir '44, and others.
I do believe that the majority of games is what we make of it, but that Warzone and Chronopia are, and probably always will be (in one incarnation or another), the central focus of this particular get-together.
-
Dont forget Red Dragon Inn and the Chariot Race.
-
Thunderstone and Road Kill Rally
-
Sounds like alot of boardgames.
nice, less minis for me to bring.
Wasn't sure if folks were doing
malifaux or warmachine or LOS
or whatever.
@phill red dragon Yes!!
Gonna bring some Jack just for that :)
last year was too much fun
@Dave ... Got some car designs
I can dig out, little silent death could
be sweet (bring my space fighters)
@archer very fun game but , yeah
something quicker this time around :p
-
We have LOS, here, too (Legions of Steel, right?)
-
I really want to play Siege of the Citadel. I've been trying to get someone to play that game with me for 10 years now.
-
A five-player game of SotC will indeeed, then, be played. Good call, Kanjo. The game is, already, here. No need to transport one.
-
There is a new game we can play - it's called Pass the Buck.
To play I stand anywhere I choose and everyone forms a line to my right. Then starting at the end of the line furthest from me the player empties his wallet and passes all the money to his left. Each player does that in turn until there is no one to my left. At that point I say thanks and go out for a steak. It is really one of my favorite games but oddly enough no one else likes to play ;D

HOUSE RULE: Dave's house, so Dave gets to stand to Hal's left.

NEW HOUSE RULE: Dave's wallet is immune (though, that pretty much is a default, as there's never any money in it, anyway)

That rule and a modest honorarium to the house are acceptable house rules. Still working on getting there but still no promise. Hopefully if I can make it either Josh or the Big Kahuna can put me and Dennis on the couch or floor for a night or two

We normally play high-divisions ($40,000 and up). When we play unlimited class, the only restrictions are vehicle sizes and the direct targeting of tires (too easy of a kill in Unlimited Class). So, if you need some more designs, here is an excellent Excel spreadsheet that can be used: MADHAT Car Wars Vehicle Design (http://web.me.com/jimmylogan/madhat/Downloads.html)

My crash-space is already claimed, bud. Check with Thom or Jeff Dodge. I know that Jeff said he was going to provide some crash-space. I would love to see you guys make it out.
-
Thom put us up last time so I am hoping he can do it agian
-
There was a car design I never got to play.
A six wheeled luxury car i called
" The Gentlemen"
for when one duels with class
one duels in The Gentlemen.
-
If I make it I may bring my set up for 30 mm Car Wars bike duelling. Anyone interested?
