I was inspired by Scorpion's fantastic Sea Lion Sniper conversion. Here is a Sea Lion Sniper conversion I started about a week ago. I tried cutting the shoulder pads off of another extra/scrap figure, but that didn't go as smoothly as planned :-\ I finally sculpted the armor and shoulder pads out of brown stuff. The shoulder pads look a little long though, so I might have to trim them. They are a bit uneven as well, but then again he does have one shoulder raised while aiming, so I think that looks natural (I hope!). Next step, knee pads and pouches!
Suggestions, comments, and or constructive criticisms welcome.

Not a bad conversion.Nice use of the Void miniature.

Thanks for the comment. I've made a little bit of progress since last post; here are some new pics; added bandanna, knee pads, pouches, helmet, and bedroll/pack (the bedroll is a little chopped up, but I'm going to repair it); just have the sword to add and repairing the helmet and roll (unless I can camouflage the damaged areas with the sword ;) ):

that's badass looking, love it!

I think that looks great! I can't wait to see it with the sword on it. The only thing I feel looks off on it a little bit is the back. I'm guessing you're putting the sword there? ;D

Good job!

I think it came out great.

Thanks everyone.
Yes, you are correct. I plan on putting the sword there. I had planned that anyway, but it worked out because the armor sculpt on the back didn't turn out like I wanted it too.
The sword is actually on now, and the figure is just waiting for paint along with the rest of my Sea Lion squad.

God job, we are waiting to see it painted! :)

I've had this guy painted for almost a year, but have had camera problems. Finally got some pictures taken, but still working on getting the lighting better.
Comments, suggestions, and/o constructive criticisms welcome.
