Hi, I 'm new to this forum but I 'm collecting Chronopia figures since 1998, first only the Firstborne, and now i have all the other armies. Unfourtunately i have little time for painting and sculpting, but i hope U would like some of my work. Less talk, more pisc... so here come some individual models:

What city do you live in? Is there a large Warzone/Chronopia crowd there?

I'm from Warsaw, Poland. We got here like 10 players, but near Warsaw there is another little city where is another 10, and we gather players from whole country once every year. There is much more Warzone players thou and many of Chronopia players also play Warzone.

It might be a shame, but i didnt play Warzone yet- the bows/swords/axes and so on are closer to me than guns. I like the Chronopia 4 the storyline and need 4 close combats...

I think you would be surprised how much CC can happen in Warzone with the right armies.

maybe, but i have not enought money to buy Warzone and Chronopia, and the Chronopia is closer to me... Maybe becouse i fight with with sword by my own. (the medival knights and so on...)  ;-) i just prefer fantasy than sci-fi.

Hands down favorite ... the "Enlightened".  The mask is incredible with crisp colors.  The loin cloth is very good and with the "fluffy" background checker board pattern it makes me sigh in resignation knowing I don't have the steady hand required to do that type of painting justice to the model.

The Iron guard was a close second with the converted Repulsar Knight running close behind.  Well done.  One question:  What brand of paint did you use on that "Enlightened"...good stuff.

I will keep an eye out for future postings from you.

Thank You, comments like this force me to paint some more... The truth is that i've painted maybe 20 minis in my life, maybe more, but every time after finishing i was washing down all the paint, becouse i thought it was ugly painted. Now even if i'm not happy in what i have done, i just paint another one, becouse even poor painted mini looks 100 times better on the battlefield than te unpainted one...

Here comes closer look on Chronomancer:
(http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/4453/dscf9320avx9.th.jpg) (http://img505.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dscf9320avx9.jpg)
And Lord D:

And i still got problems with doing fine bases :(

pour quality, but still better than no picture at all. This is my FIRST miniature, bought 14 years ago(as present from my dad), painted for Chariot Building Competition (but I couldn’t finish it on time). Enjoy:

Please see thread "Off to the races II" Looks like it could be included in that competition IMHO. Follow the rules and post pictures in the thread.

I think the base is great and helps the model stand out.  In my opinion, your model looks too good to have the base "steal" any attention from it.  Great job on the painting by the way.

Just to mention the photos were made in bad conditions and are little different to real... But there is no problem to repaint it. I'm open to any color schemes. What do You propose?

Looks good. My only suggestion is either adjust your white balance on your camera, or do some post processing to reduce the yellow in your pictures. The fourth one is good, but the first three look totally different.

This looks excellent!!!  great job!!!

Did you build this yourself?  if not, what model is this??

THX, the white balance is really crap, but the picture was made by phone... I promise to make some better ones.
And yes, i made it all by myself:

How it was before:

You've done a great job with that! I love the shading and colours. It definitely is a huge leap ahead of how it was painted beforehand.

Do you have any other paint jobs to share? :D
Title: Re: Wrathraven's Armies

Well, it was made from a kind of a plasticine that hardens when boiled in water, it's not a good material, but cheap. Unfourtunately I cannot afford for that much of green stuff, so I made only the teeth. That's why it was so colorful, just a material for kids...  ;)

A great peice and done really well.

The Fimo stuff might have been usefull. Not sure of the price for it though.

 Like the Troll conversion too.

Thanks, the Troll must be finally finished, i suppose I just spend some time to just assemble it and paint it a little bit. These minis deserve to be finished at last ;-)

I couldn't paint minis because i had no paints in my little flat, but I've managed to start sculpting another mini:

(http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/5337/startmini.th.jpg) (http://img707.imageshack.us/i/startmini.jpg/)
Unfourtunately it has broken during boiling
(http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/8498/imag0550mini.th.jpg) (http://img577.imageshack.us/i/imag0550mini.jpg/)
but i've hidden the holes
(http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/7513/imag0551mini.th.jpg) (http://img27.imageshack.us/i/imag0551mini.jpg/)
first view on legs
(http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/2702/imag0557mini.th.jpg) (http://img687.imageshack.us/i/imag0557mini.jpg/)
a start of sculpting the head
(http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/8191/imag0562mini.th.jpg) (http://img405.imageshack.us/i/imag0562mini.jpg/)
what i've done till now.
Much work before me, but now it starts to look as it should...
Enjoy  ;)
