Hy there everybody. I'm going to try my swamp goblins in battle, but I just can't understand some rules about their template weapons:
-The web spinner staff (page 100) : It says it should be used with the template to entrap the enemy models in the net if they fail the roll as described, but... which template should I use for?
- Powder Pipe (page 101) : I got the template, but there's only an asterisc (*) on the damage column, and the description of the effect says only that's a residual damage, but I found no indications about it's entity.
-Gourd bombs (page 101) : there are two different damages to manage with. In the stats column it says: ST+6, but in the description says damage 10 under the template area. Which one should I follow?

I'll check the FAQ and my notes. I'm almost 100% the Powder Pipe damage is 10, and the Gourd Bombs are 10.
I thought the webspinner was only for single models, but I better read up on that!!!!

Ok, thanks a lot and, by the way... same matter with the net: it says that you're trapped in if you fail the armor roll, but there's no damage in the column of the stats (only a *). Does this mean that you roll on your unmodified armor? This means that a repulsar knight will never be trapped, and even a very light one (like a 16 armor unit) has enormous chances of escape...

Every question you have needs to be in the errata.
I don't know if you'll believe me, because I've always heard that the net "damage" for the armor save was 10!!
That would make it easy to remember. I'll run it by the FAQ team, and Thom, if he has the time.

I would say use the powder pipe template

I'd agree with Josh about 10 seeming like a good value.

ST+3=9 so not that big a difference. I'd go with 10 since I like the little buggers.

Andreas, see if you can find the info on nets. I think it was in an old FAQ. I'll look when I get home from work. :P

The FAQ we have is the most up to date. We still need to have the answers for these, but for now, this should be close enough and not unbalance your game.

Andreas, look at Buzzu's Ant Rider Swamp Goblins. I might have undercosted them, but I think I'm close.

Ok guys since I had no more news about that I think I'll play the net, the gourd bombs and powder pipe all at damage 10. And I'll use the powder pipe template for the webspinner staff.
That sounds SO interesting...
