I painted this about a year and a half ago when i was still learning to paint. The Chronopia models are really nice imo because they have plenty of room for you to try out painting techniques and have the detail required to make the minis looking cool. Anyway here is a link of the only model, i will post up more stuff when i get around to it.

Very nice work, great color choice and muted tones. The gems look excellent, too. You say you painted him while you were learning to paint? I don't think I could paint something that well now, and I've been painting for 20 years!

I have to agree with Alxbates - if this was done while you were learning it's better than most "pro-painted" models I see on Ebay.
My early minis look more like everlasting gobstoppers.

Thanks for the kind words, but i have gotten alot better. I've been doing alot of painting with GW models here are some of my latest stuff, but hopefully since im trying to get back into warzone and chronopia i will be working on those minis.

:) well always getting nice comments gives great motivation and morale to do better work, hopefull i will enter the golden demon this year in the UK and see how far off the mark i am and then i once i've finished my current armies i might start doing commission work.

Thanks for the nice words and the stickified topic. Hopefully i will finish my chaos 40k army finished soon but i will get back to warzone and chronopia models which i have. I've always liked the feel of the models, in both fluff and the way they feel in my hands. Its funny actually because i don't generally like painting metal models compared with plastics but the chronopia ones are really nice imo. ;)
I don't actually know manic_miner, but he did PM on bartertown about my chronopia models, im just waiting for a response lol :D.

Andy is good people. I have to find the right pewter to send him as he hooked me up with some Chainmail Ogres I've wanted for years. He's also a conversion nut like myself, so we're all in the right spot.
Chronopia is the incredible marriage of fluff, models and rules that make this game so great. There are no Dwarves, Elves, Blackbloods, Swamp Goblins, or Stygian in all the other Tolkien-inspired settings, quite like ours.
It's also the models, which, even though sculpted years ago, still look so damn good when painted up, conveying the story, and playing (ruleswise) like they look. I can only think of a few exceptions, like the Orc Assault Warrior Leader not being point costed for his falchion, but instead armed with a spear. I can let it slide considering how incredible an effort it was to collate all the original material, pare it down, recalibrate the points and add so much more.
