Title: Mutant Chronicles CMG - A Bit of Good news?
Post by: Glenn M on May 29, 2008, 05:22:15 PM
I know not everyone is into this game concept, and that's fine, but this may hold interest for a few of you, apparently they have decided that future expansions will be fixed and not random.  This could work out very well for the most part, I personally like the looks of the figures and wanted to use them mostly for RPG purposes, this will make it very easy for me to collect those figures I want, and those I do not need.  I am not sure of the exact new distribution methods, but hopefully it works out well.

Just thought I'd let those of you who were turned off by the random nature know.

Eh...Didn't even know they had actually gotten the initial game releases out yet.

I'll definitely go by their booth at Gencon and play a demo just to see how it is.

The game isn't out yet, I am pretty sure it is supposed to ship mid June, but we'll see.

I am going to preorder a Starter and a Pair of boosters, I figure, if I like it great, if not, I'll eBay the lot and be done with it.  Since you are allowed to mix Human factions in the game, I should have no real issue having enough figures.  But I am looking at $60 for the starter contents and 14 heads.  Though 3 of them are large.

The reviews have been very good so far with most everyone enjoying it that I have heard.
