This person is a bit over-proud of their lousy paint job; their opening bid is almost $25.

I'd say Pekulior is the current brushmaster!
I've only charged like that for one figure, a conversion, and my client agreed it was worth the price.

the person has an extremly high opinion of his work. Undeserved I might add ;)

I don't want to dis this guy's painting efforts, but I don't think I'll bid. I looked at the other models he has for sale. The pumpkin head one is not bad, but I think he should price his efforts closer to tabletop quality.
Who knows, maybe this person two years from now will improve enough to sell at the price asked for now.
I'm seeing 0 bids, so I guess the harsh realities of the free market economy will be the best indicator for him.
I'm writing this with the idea in the back of my head that the artist/seller may be a future forum member.
