Post painted pics of your Imperial forces here. Use a direct link from photobucket or whatever place you store your pics. If one day we get a new gallery, we can organize all the pictures accordingly.

I'll start if off, with my humble attempts

Here's a Blood Beret turned Golden Lions..

The first image is of how the mini looked when I got hold of it and the second one's after I hastily painted it as a Golden Lion instead. It's the minis from the game Blood Berets. It's not competition-grade painting, but I'd say it's table-top grade at least.

It took me a moment to realize there was a second photo. Your painting saved the model, and looks as good as anything I put on my table. Nice rescue.

Here's an overview of the current state of the Imperials on the workbench:

Those figures bring back memories of the early days!

Hehe, well, at first I just hated the figs. They're so darned ugly, but after I painted them, I think they're acceptable..

Painted by Unknown. Bought on Ebay from Australia. They look superb IMO.

Blood Beret (1rst & 2nd Ed). Or Golden Panther (Clan Murdoch)?

From the decoration on the knee I would say he made a unit of Shamrocks a unit from the 1st ed days. They do look sweet. See if Pancreas is still around. I believe he was our resident Aussie and he might know who painted them. The Aussie community wasn't that large as I recall.
-
Ahh :) sure will do.
What I meant with "golden panthers?". Is that, the mini could represent the golden panthers in UWZ. :) I have a bunch of other blood berets like that as well. Also with one sgt. sitting on a Necromower. All with the 4 leaf clover. And the previous owner also used the rocketpacks from the Rams Air Cavalry mini on 4 blood berets with gas masks. (Do they represent the black berets in the UWZ btw?...) I will post the whole gott damn team later on:)

Definitely Shamrocks. They look very nice.

There is another one called "Bravery" that is this one with a second caption "Salute that man, not for the practicality of his actions but the badassery inherent in them".

Proving that mixing the DNA of human and chipmunk should never be allowed!

finally managed to upload few of my miniatures (taken together with some experimental pieces of terrain) to share. Sorry for the quality, these were taken on the cellphone camera.

this is the first larger piece of jungle i managed to create, and follows the only "brown based" piece i have created so far.

I also have smaller city finished, but i will post some pics of it in the different thread

Very nice jungle pieces! Very lush. How did you make them?
-
Thanks. I got my inspiration in Venus: Bauhaus Forces of War book. Whole piece is built on polystyrene base (3 layers as you could notice) which I tried to paint to look like rock. You can also recognize poppies variously painted to fit into jungle area, trees are made of stripped wire wrapped in bandages soaked in watered down white glue and then flocked. Tree leaves (and "big violet thingy next to the blood beret captain" leaves) are cut from transparent parts of old warzone blister packs. I had to buy green and brown flock, static grass and small bushes (which cost about .......currency conversion..... 10 USD together and i still had plenty of flock left to build 30 same pieces, and also bushes for two more pieces). Big violet thingy on top is also cut from polystyrene.
btw large tree in the city, on the pictures i posted elsewhere is also made from wire and bandages/toilet paper soaked in watered down glue. Its hanging leaves are cut from my old green T shirt :)
Hope this helps.
