Title: In Search of the Devil (of the Crimson Variety)
Post by: Bignasty on December 28, 2007, 07:50:04 PM
Hi,

Thanks to Topkick and others, most of my Bauhaus and Imperial wants have been taken care of.

Now I just need a few Crimson Devils to complete a Mishima force

*Mishima*
--------------
1x Demon Hunter
4-6x Crimson Devils

I have a great deal available for trade such as:

AT-43 Therian models (almost all new in box)
Warhammer Fantasy Empire models (enough for a large army)
Various Privateer Press models

I can also pay $$ if needed.

Please contact me regarding more details about what is available for trade, and thanks in advance!

I  might be able to help with the Blitzers and Venusian Marshal. I need to get to my Gaming Sanctum and check.

I'll add the Imperial stuff to the list to look for. Am I correct to assume that you are looking for the new style Blood Berets?

I didn't know there was an old style ;)

Ok, lets go with new style. I take it they look better.

I thought so.How is the force shaping up?
Any other games you are into?

I've ended up dabbling in a lot of games. I have all 4 warmachine factions, 3 of Hordes factions, all factions for Infinity, an endless sea of Starship trooper models, rezolution models, flames of war stuff, 2 dark age factions.

I have 4 Urban War factions on the way as well.

Oddly enough, I used to play the Doomtrooper ccg years ago without knowing it was a miniatures game. I stumbled across the Warzone game, and seeing all those cards brought to life was really cool.

Plus I really dig the rules. I have a Brotherhood force now, but I'm really hoping to get a Bauhaus army together as well.

 Nice.
I too am a miniatures addict.I have many different game systems miniatures.Way too many to ever get painted.I like the Combined Army for Infinity. The Junkers have always interested me most in their various forms.
Welcome on board and good luck in your search for the forces you need.

I have a line on a Venusian Marshall, but when its all said and done it will run me about $26 CDN. Thats seems a little high for a guy on a horse (am I wrong here?)

Yes - you can find it cheaper

Try Ral Partha Europe, Prince August, or Spirit Games.

D

BTW - AFA Miniatures addicts - I could have bought a house with all the figs I've picked up over the years.... It's sad really.

Topkick is my hero :)

Were you able to check if you had any of the others?

Regarding miniatures addiction: I'm allowed to buy minis as long as they fit in my gaming 'closet'. I'm starting to overflow, so I'm figuring out how to get more shelves in there ;)

Currently my gaming sanctum is 50 miles form my house. I won't be there til the 5th of Jan but I know i have a Venusian Marshal. It is painted - but you can strip it. I may have an unpainted one but that I have to check on.

It's a long story involving divorce, bankruptcy, and irony. The ironic part is that my Gaming Sanctum is my ex-wife's converted garage and that she is my ex-wife but current friend with benefits  :o

Some say I am a bbbaaaaaaddddddddddd wittle boy  ;)

On a completely unrelated note (but may affect what I am looking for), did they ever make Mishima Enlightened Master models of any sort?

Negatory - check Urban War, Rezolution, Wyrd Miniatures, for Proxies (also the guys who do Infinity have a fantasy line with some cool looking Monk types.).

Did you need the new style Blitzers, or Romanov Blitzers?

Good question. I was assuming the new style myself and have them on the list to look for. I don't have the box set but I think I have several blisters worth.

I'm not entirely sure what the visual difference is between the Romanov ones and the new ones.

The only ones I've seen are these ones : http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/tg10516.html

Is there a place I could see what the Romanov ones look like?

I would recommend going with the new ones since they are much better looking minis.

Hi,

I'm just starting to get into the game and searching for enough Bauhaus to get going.

In particular, I am looking for:

1x Blitzer squad box  (or equivalent)
2x Venusian Ranger
3x Bauhaus Hussar

For Imperials, I'm mainly looking for the following:
Blood Beret Captain
Trencher hero
8 Trenchers
2 Trencher w/hmg
2 Trencher sergeant
8 Blood Berets
2 Blood Beret Sergeant
2 Blood Beret w/hmg
Wolfbairns

Warzone: Universe Under Siege rulebook

This is what I found today

1 X Wolfbairn blister (2 figs)
2 x Wolfbairn box sets

1 x Blood Beret Trooper blister (new style 2 figs)
1 x Blood Beret Trooper blister (old style 4 figs)
Multiple Blood Beret Sgt blisters (new style)
Multiple Blood Beret Cpt blisters (new style)
Multiple Blood Beret HMG Spec blisters (new style)

I forgot to check the Trenchers but am fairly confident I can provide most if not all the Trenchers you are looking for.

Several Blitzer Sgt blisters (new style)
Several Blitzer Cpt blisters (new style)
Several Blitzer PLR Spec blisters (new style)
3 x Venusian Rangers standing
2 x Venusian Rangers kneeling
1 x Venusian Rangers Sgt
1 x Max Steiner
PM me if you are interested in picking up any of these items.

Okay, uh, huge tangent here but am I the only one whom this thread title brings to mind Leonard Nemoy standing around in the contryside asking things like:

"Will there exist a large megacorporation founded on the principles of quality?  Will this megacorporation go on to terraform and dominate Venus?  We'll ask these questions and more on this episode of...In Search Of"
[cue chincy 70's mystery music]
Ooooweeeawwwwweeerrre

Okay, maybe I'm just dating myself.
