Hello there.
First let me say that it is good to see warzone finally getting a forum again. I have been waiting for this.
Second let me ask you all what has happened with warzone since last time I played it. In 1999 or something :)
I play Imperial but are also looking into starting a Lutheran army since I am both a Luthran myself and a fan of the Question comic.

Welcome Trencher. Excelsior has been developing the products since 2003. You would have been playing second edition I believe.
As for your "Lutherans", they have the cavalry about to some out but we changed their name in Ultimate Edition Warzone as we could not make it work in the continuity. Their new name is the Inheritors of Job, which suits them better I feel.

I am not sure if I like the name change but if you make some Luthrans with hair like in the books then you could call them "the sons of the flying spagetti monster" for all I care. I did not like the bald look for them made them look like egg-people.
I also have seen pictures of a new Razide model, is it for sale?

I've found "Lutherans" is still a pretty effective way of reffering to them without having to say the mouthful that is "Inheriters of Job"
The figures are awesome, the baldness is cool. So are the masks.

OH, THOSE AREN'T MASKS. THE LUTHERANS REMOVE THEIR NOSE AND SEW IT AND THEIR MOUTHS SHUT.

You cant breathe on dark eden therefore the Luthrans of the future cut of the nose and sew it and the mouth shut on their young. Then over time they sand it down so no stiches or even scar shows.
And they are the only army that uses sawed off shot guns on a regular basis they just don't get any kewler!

The Inheritors call them "Jay-bos". Or "Hovahs".
Actually, they don't really call them anything. They have no mouths.

I think the 'Inheritors of Job' is a great name for them. We don't want them getting mixed up with actual Lutherans anyways. Could you imagine giving a demo to some Lutherans at a con and then giving them the spiel about the factions in the game only to have them look at a bunch of fanatical UKers that sewed their mouths shut?!
I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with the name change it's just that...It's hard enough convincing some parents that TTGs aren't 20th century satan worship (believe me, I work at a game shop I get it more often than not).

So having Luthrans in a game make people think that the game is satanic?
Are your customers Catholics or something :D Just kidding.
We all know that they are more inspired by puritans anyway.
I am convinsed that Luthrans with hair will be cool though.

I think Steel Rabbit wasn't referring to just Lutherans but the hobby in general. The name change came about as we were trying to create a cogent continuity for Mutant Chronicles. While I personally like the name Lutherans there was really nothing in their background that defined why they would be called that. Based on their iconography, religious predilections and world view towards suffering, Inheritors of Job seemed to suit them much better. Read the Book of Job sometime and you can see why this name fits them like a glove. Hair is no problem though...

and don't grill too hard, the new releases dictate their own timetables. The Tekron was finished ages ago but it absolutly refused to break down for molding.

You picked the right guy to ask questions - E Prime is also known as the The Big Kahuna, The Top Dog, The Big Cheese, Da' Man and Boss. His name is Thom Talamini and he is the Head of Excelsior Entertainment. If you are lucky he will be at a Con you attend in the future.

Allright I have seen pics around the net of a new Razide model but I don't know where to buy it. I also wonder why things are moving so slow? Don't you have people working for you anymore or are everything done by fans now? Who are you anyway?

That's a legitimate question Trencher, one that is not answered where it should, namely in the "About us" section of the website.
As to "why things are moving so slow?", well I guess it's because Thom / E Prime does not whip his oompa Lumpa hard enough ;o)

The new razide Model is over a foot tall and at the moment is a trophy, though one day it'll be in a supersized version of Siege of the Citadel.
and Thoms name is in the front cover of both of the books. They're workin on gettin his Email up and running.

Who are you anyway?
Posters who work for this company should be identifying themselves. It removes the guessing game aspect from posts that are clearly from someone important. IMO. If they decide it doesn't matter, no biggie to me though.
I'm kind of glad that releases have been...careful. I still have too much to paint as it is. Though I'm getting the itch to buy more soon! Especially freaks on Horses! ;D

I am presently the custodian for the games and their lead designer. Doing the webwork has taken all of our time. We are a small company and my health these last two months has taken a bad turn preventing me from doing things faster

Since this is the place to ask quesitons, I saw the greens for the Survelor (a thing of beauty and a joy forever). When is that due out?

The Razide on steroids is about in scale with that uber Templar. I'll see if i can't find the promo shot of the mega-Razide next to a regular one. it's impressive to say the least.

As to the questions. Here are a few answers.
The Razide is around 13 inches tall. Currently it is a model kit that we are going to be releasing and should be able to be purchase in Oct. 2005. Price has not be set as of yet.
The survelor greens were post on the old site. We have not received the green yet for him to put into production.
As to employees from EE and forum names.
E Prime is Thom Talamini (Owner, Creative Director ect...)
Anubis31 is Jon DeMare (me) (Graphic Designer, Production, ect.)
Lancelot is Lance Katz (production, sales, demo)

I joke around with my fiance all the time that I am going to put some painted Warzone figs on our wedding cake ;D!! She isn't too fond of the idea, but luckily supports my gaming as well!!

Hmmm, if someone dressed (if a belt counts as dressed) like my valerie is painted they'd be arrested.
It wasn't me i swear! I inherited everyones peices when most of my group stopped playing......actually not very well done - if I played bauhaus id repaint her.
All though any rendition of valerie would definatly catch peoples attention.....
