Title: WZ movie list
Post by: pinksuezo on May 22, 2007, 03:17:37 AM: on the imdb board for the warzone movie, someone posted a list of things they'd like to see in the film. i posted my own list there, which was basically a wishlist of things that wont be in the movie but which i wish were.
i'm curious what some of the people in this forum would list, as a way to sort of see what your "top ten favorite things of wz" are almost. im guessing already a few of them will be repeated.

my list of things i'd like to see in the film is:
1. the planets other than earth. venusian jungles, massive mercurian caves, cybertronic's connected asteroids, and fuxed up nero would be sweet.
2. nepharites like how theyre supposed to be
3. undead legionnaires
4. cybertronic
5. atillas, specifically
6. and eradicator deathdroids
7. mortificators
8. the cathedrals
9. pretorian stalkers
10. a whole bunch of other things

How about this a REAL movie not a 1-1/2 + hour long commercial for some stupid collectible games.
I would like to see.
1 Preatorian Behemoths.
2 Grizzlies
3 Mega Battles.
Probably won't happen but one can dream. :P

Mixed feelings about this one. Cheesy intro, but has some cool human elements as well.

Only if Paradox didn't pull the plug. The upcoming movie would have a built-in audience. At least, I would have gone to a 1/2 price matinee for this one....

anyone else find it a little disconcerting that it's supposed to be out in '08 and alot of the links still don't have material?

It had better come out in the winter, if it comes out in summer 08 it will get hammered by the batman movie. They changed to much of the background for my liking.

I had a look at the MC movie website, noting the synopisis. The backstory is different - instead of Imperial breaking into the tablet on Pluto, Mitch Hunter stumbles into it on Earth. I like the look of it, even though its not Warzone - I think big pauldron armour would be hard to pull off realistically without making it cartoonish so I can forgive that. The Brotherhood make an appearance in the film as well as mutants - although not the necromutants that I'm familiar with. Production weblogs have been posted on the site as well.

I'm keeping an open mind - Its not going to be Warzone, it could be worse...Uwe Boll could be directing it ;D
