Miscellaneous equipment on pages145 and 146 all have a point cost next to them. Air they available to squads or individuals for exp. remote detonator for models with demo.

I think the point costs are just there to confuse (or perhaps impress) you. I don't think you can buy any of that stuff, but it isn't uncommon to find those items lurking in equipment profiles.

Are you talking about the Corp/Grunt loadouts? (I don't have my book with me at the moment) I've always wondered what those were.

Grunt troops can select from the Grunt Loadouts section  and Elites from their section and Individuals from thiers.  he is refering to the Equipment Equipment section which just describes all the mischellanious equipment that several units have, such as the RP187 jet packs and that Countermeasure Launcher that the Hurricane Walkers have.  Those pieces of equipment have to be assigned to the model and already have their point costs figured in.

Those point costs were to have been left off until later.
