Title: The 4" rule for individuals and warbands
Post by: DogOWar on October 26, 2006, 08:32:03 PM
I would like a little clarification on this.  Specifically,  does the Individual have to be within 4" of the leader of a warband, or just 4" to a member of the warband.  In the rulebook it just states within 4" of a warband ( to rally,p. 61).   I can see that this "could" be argued either way, but IMO , I take it as 4" to any member of a warband.  This would also apply to: template(s), fear, commanding presence.

Any member is how we've been playing it.  The individual takes precedence over the squads leader.

Correct.

Somewhat related: and don't forget that Standards increase the warband's own command distance to 5".

Damn. I am glad my stygies are steadfast we, so we don;t need no stinking standards. But my elves on the other hand HMM.
