I got free food, and Dead Rising, and my freind pretty much got a free big screen HD TV. :)

It was indeed quite happy.

yeah.  They went to circuit city to buy a big screen TV, and were going to get a 1500 dollar one.  When they brought out the box, it said somethign different.  So they tried to get it taken back, but the clerk was like "It's the same TV".

When they checked out what they actually got, it turned out to be a 3500 dollar HD flat screen plasma.

WOOT!

I can't wait to pop Kingdom of Heaven in there, or maybe Krull. :)

Many a D&D session from my youth was pefaced by a viewing of Krull.

For those who like it, you SHOULD get the DVD.  One of the features is that it playes the movies sound track (dialouge and all) over pan and scans of the Marvel comic adaptation.

That and Slayers.  All the lovely Slayers.

And the glaive (even though it's technically not a glaive).

I think the Beasts castle was the ultimate prototype citadel.

Hmmm... thinking about it, the old M.U.S.C.L.E rubber figs had guys who looked exactly like them...

... Templars of Illian, perhaps?
