Warzone / Chronopia at Archon 30

If you are going to be anywhere near the St Louis area in early October (the 5th thru the 8th to be exact) you owe it to yourself to check out Archon 30 http://www.archonstl.org/30/main.html

ColdthunderD, Mechmannfr, and myself will be hosting games of Warzone and Chronopia. The schedule is not set in stone but these are the evetns that have been submitted.

Topkick's Events

Game System: Ultimate Warzone
Event Title: Capture the Flag
Description: This basic introductory scenario has been adapted to a round robin tournament format. Points will be scored during the first 3 rounds and the top 2 players, by point total will move on to the finals. The concept is deceptively simple - capture your opponent’s flag while protecting your own. However players must excel at both offensive and defensive tactics to win the day. Armies will be available and rules will be taught. New Players welcome.

Event Title: The Guns of Ganymede
Description: Cybertronic has developed a new super-weapon; one capable of destroying starships. These guns, built on an artificial asteroid, are positioned to control the Queen’s Road, Ganymede’s main space lane. These guns must be destroyed. While the Imperial Navy provides a distraction, a strike force of Imperial Regulars and Golden Lions must land on the asteroid and destroy the guns before Cybertronic’s blockade forces Imperial to surrender Ganymede. All materials will be provided and rules will be taught. New Players welcome

Description: An unmanned recon drone that utilizes forbidden technology went down in the Venusian jungle. It is imperative that this technology be recovered before the Brotherhood or a rival corporation can discover the truth. Your orders are simple – recover the technology if possible and leave no evidence or witnesses.

Event Title: Feast or Famine
Description: It has been a long war and supplies are in great demand. The week of the winter solstice comes with a very fragile truce. The enemy is within a stones throw of your camp. Both appear to be preparing for a feast to celebrate the winter solstice. Just as you resigned yourself to a feast of watered down bean soup, a beast has wandered onto the battlefield. All that is required is to catch it before the enemy catches it, without starting a new blood bath. All materials will be provided and rules will be taught. New players welcome.

Description: 100 of Chronopia’s best knights once laid down their lives for their King and country in the pursuit of knowledge, to avert a great disaster.  Now you are asked to take the same risk. The great pyramid temple of Ipkur-Kish, long thought deserted, holds many secrets.  Inside the temple is information leading to another Stone tablet.  Get the information through rubbings, copying, or stealing.  The Chronomancer's have great need this information; the fate of all Chronopia depends on it.  All materials will be provided and rules will be taught.  New players are welcome.

Description: It has been discovered that the Dark Legions draw some of their energy from a dimension other than our own. To seal the opening between this dimension and our own the Brotherhood has enlisted the assistance of the Cartel. Several small teams have been dispatched to Necro to seal the rift. Can the Corporations put aside their differences or will old grudges and the promise of great power to the successful Corp doom the expedition? This operative must not reach Le Havre; if he cannot be liberated then he and the patrol escorting him must be eliminated. All materials will be provided and rules will be taught.
