Yeah had a few problems, it was a while ago though, I haven't visted the forums in a long while though.  I tend to be a person who when they have a bad experience or two I just blackbook the place and don't bother.  I'll still check in if that is where most of the community goes though.  I want be super active, but I'm not right now anyways, I have way to many things that I want to do and not enough time to do those things, let alone following a dead game around with the prayer it'll be back.  I'm sure it will, and I'll probably be there when it is, but I have a lot of projects so I'm not going to dedicate all my time to trying to bring it back.  I tried it when EE was still in biz, and I still couldn't get players.

I just chimed in for chribu and here is the reason why.  We are used to being able to say what we want about our game in relative seclusion.  I think if we go over to a more public forum we will be engaged by a lot of others.  Others who are only all to happy to see our game "stumble" once agian, and I think this could lead to some negative interactions.  Other decent people which are potential players/fans will of course be witnessing this and could be scared away.

So I say, why don't we stick with what we are used to in order to avoid problems.  Just as before, we had a prescence over on other sites but we had our home.  So, why don't we have our own home and we can still venture over to Minirealms, the Miniature page, Coki's, etc. to check out what everyone else is saying and promote ourselves in a positive light, just not make the other site our base of operations.

I just had an idea...
if we don't move to minirealms it would be possibile in the future to move the forum onto a dedicated web site (such as www.ultimatewarzone.com - i just had a look and its available).

i'm just worried there might be some copyright issues with opening a web site called like that... :-[

I hope not to offend, but I think remaining in the pool with all the other games is still a good idea, even if Chronopia is in limbo.   It just seems like cowardice to run off to some secluded corner like an unwanted stepchild.  I'd rather be posting where the other people are talking about their games just to let'em know we are out there, playing, and still a potential market if someone else wants to do something with the license.  I'm not worried about anyone in cyberspace messin' with us.  We've seen enough craziness on our own forum with tempers flarin', especially over the license, so why should minirealms be any different? 

I know the Warzone players could use their own space, to match Coki's, but I think at least for Chronopia, we should keep holding the standard high on minirealms.  Cheers.

I have noted bits of floating chad on my screen.  I think there has been some voter fraud (I notice one of the screen names involved was "Hoffa").  I am now initiating leagal action to have the votes re-counted and will be suing.

Yup, I've noticed that since friday.  This board's tech support is asking for a link that they can forward to.  I think with Minirealms unstability I'm leaning towards Chribu's now.  This is not saying Chribu's site wont have the same problem but at least not enough traffic to cause lots of headache.
