Stupid Troop Queston

This is a dumb question but I'm slow.

When the rules give a unit size, do they include the squad leader and specialists? 
Ex:  Destoryer squads 3-4 required.  So is that four basic troops and a Sgt or Three basic and a Sgt for a total of four.

I man the freaking things are (were) sold in groups of four.

normally the requirement is for the number of standard troopers
that's why you have sgt, 1 required.
