Swampie Army
« on: September 23, 2005, 10:19:47 AM »
First off I have had my swamp goblin army adding up for awhile and never painted. I have a converted spearman standard and muscian, also a mantis champion. It totals 1100  pts. or so and everything is ready to be started, but I first wanted to know if people would be interested in following my progress. With like a pic diary. If so i will start a thread in the painting and terrain forums with the conversions and some other pics.

They're ramping up the Warzone painting competition right now. Speaking just for me - I would not only encourage you but I'd argue for it to be allowed as an entry when we do a Chronopia contest in a few months

Contest?  With fabulous prizes, perhaps?  I'd settle for the joy of finishing some painting, so keep us posted.

Ok i guess my 1100 pts. was off a bit, its more like 3000 pts. I know that is major but I started large so i can play almost any size game. Ok I will give the list
-10 Webmasters 1 Ldr
-10 Headhunters 1 Ldr 1 Stan. 1 Musician
-12 Spearman 1 Ldr 1 Stan. 1 Musician
-12 Blowpipers 1 Ldr
-6 Mantis Warriors 1 Ldr 1 Stan. 1 Musician
-4 Drones 1 Ldr
-4 Elf Axeman 1 Ldr 1 Stan.
-Yellow Lotus Eater(maybe two or a unit of spearman, man i wish the embraced were out)
-Headhunter Champ
-Mantis Guard Champ
-Shaman
-2 Sentinels
and that about raps it up. I will be doing it in sections so I can post units together when finished. Tell me what you all think. I can have some pics up by tomorrow or Sunday.
