Found this line of models: Kaiju Kaos, 28mm and besides these great Wrym for, say a Desert Wyrm, there is an Ice Wyrm that could serve a similar purpose and animals such as a giant Kongo (ape), and other things like Dinosaurs and other stuff. Basically browse around and you might find something useful.
I'm just sharing this to help others find the model they are seeking or find a model they think they can put to good use and we all love great 28mm models.

Nice link. I've been looking on reaper minis and other places for proxies. I'll gather the ones I've seen and post them.

The Slag Dragon by Ramshakle games would work well in the Chronopia setting.

The Orc range has some nice pieces too.

Perhaps this topic may be pinned. I think that with an adequate painting scheme this will be a suitable proxy for a Repulsar Knight:

There are two other miniatures for the Royal Guard by Zenit which would work well too.

Ral Partha / Iron Wind Metals is currently running a Kickstarter for their Chaos Wars game that includes Dwarfs, Troglodytes (could be Stygians) and Undead.

I think that Devouts players will give a good use to the Centigor Champion. Specially after painting him green and arming him with a flail fashioned from his spear.
