 I am liking the smaller scale miniatures which seem popular right now.Makes doing big battles much easier too.You can go for a grand scale with it all compared to the larger stuff.Works out cheaper too.

I would agree for regimental battles with large blocks of guys the 10-15mm scale seems to work better and is much easier on the wallet. It also does not seem to negatively affect game play and gives a much stronger sense of scale. With that said a 25mm regimental battle all painted is quite breath taking.

 The 25mm-28mm regimental battles do look good.It is the price and table size that puts me off.Also the time to get everything done for the games.
