Brittans Painting Log!
« on: June 30, 2012, 04:10:37 PM »
Hi!

I am slowly working my way through my miniatures pile and have decided to have a bash at finishing off my Sons of Kronos force that I began many moons ago.

They have been in storage for several years and when I rummaged them out of my storage case was horrified to find that they had all fallen out of their transport boxes!

After some wailing and gnashing of teeth I have begun sorting them out and hope to post some pictures here of my progress. I am also trying to flesh out the force a little and have got a few proxy miniatures to keep me going!

First up theres a couple of Four A Barbarians which will be getting made into a unit soonish!

Next up theres an old Grenadier barbarian who will see action as a hero or unit leader:

Hopefully I will have some more bits and bobs to show in the next few days!

All the best!

Hi!

Heres the latest batch recovered from storage and repaired!

The Viridian Lord just needed a few touch up to a few chips here and there before varnishing!

The hero is an old Harbinger figure but he looks the business as a Sons of Kronos champion! I hope to get a unit of Hearthguard repaired and ready to show over the next few days!

All the best!

Hi!

No more painted figures I'm afraid as I am about to move house but I did manage to finish off a sculpt!

I am going to be casting the little fellow up to use as a Darktusk proxy and have another three in the offing but haven't had chance to get them finished as yet but once I have, I will take some more pics!

All the best!

Is that scaled to the rest of the Dark Tusks?  Whatever scale it's in, it's better than the DT Hero!!!

Hi!

He should be around the same size as the Dark Tusks and once I have a few more finished I will have a bash at casting them myself in resin!

I have my own company which has thus far been selling one off pieces or sculpts to other companies but I am hoping to start selling my own small range of resin figures too!

All the best!

Wow these are great! I'm having a hard time looking away from the V.Lord....

Your dwarf looks better than a lot of the Target dwarven sculpts.
