T-Five needs a theme!
« on: February 23, 2011, 07:33:11 PM »
The Wife has suggested:

Talamania V - Return of the Nerds!
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

How about-
Talamania V - It's a trap!
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

If I can't vote for my own - I vote for this one.

Something something complete.

Good lord and lady! If you're going to qoute pop culture ,do it right!  ;D

It would be Something something something Dark Symmetry!
(it was from Family Guy, not Robot Chicken)

Talamania 5- one better then T4
Talamania 5- still only needing one die. (was going to suggest one hand but that would be just a wrong )
T5- Now Four Fingers and  a thumbs up!

Me too. Although just to be a little picky the line is from Return of the Jedi and should thus be saved for T6.

Since we have used a movie theme the tagline for Rocky 5 was "Go for it!".

Star Trek V - The final frontier

Any other movies where there are 5 or more?

There is always that great Jack Nicholson movie from 1970 - 5 Easy Pieces

T-V - Keep Running because the only good is momentum. OR
T-V - The restlessness of the new middle class
(Both of those are from the liner notes on the laser disc).

Then of course from TV there is Babylon 5

T-V - Babylon

I'm with Coil on saving, "It's a trap!" for T-6.

Thanks, Lance, for outing my lack of of pop-culture knowledge (I'll have to take that as one of my new skills when I get a few more XP).

Even though you outed me, I still like your references, along with everyone else's and will start a poll.

For a B5 reference:

"Faith Provides"

Not to be cuddly or cute, but in all the years of gaming I have seen all the best and worst of the gaming communities and people and in those years this crew rises to the top as the reason I do these nerdy things. You guys are the best of the best and the cream of the crop in the gaming community and I am proud to know you all. We have survived a lot and we still play a game that even if it isn't in circulation, is the best out there. Pretty cool, kinda what B5 did (and may still do if MJS has his way)

And this weekend I am going to crush you all like little bugs....
(if only my tactics and dice where as good as my trash talk)

See you guys soon!

Bill
