"deep Vistas" Poster Map Set
« on: January 11, 2011, 02:58:15 PM »
Hey guys, my friend Chris makes some cool poster maps for gaming on, but he's a little afraid he isn't gonna get the fundage he needs, so I am pimping it out a little bit.

If you guys are interested, I recommend them, his stuff is always of the highest quality (for reference, he designed the Star Wars miniatures poster maps)

He also did a lot of the maps for Dragon Magazine and Dungeon Magazine. Yeah all the really cool ones!

Hm... Those look very nice, but I've got no use for them myself.  Best of luck with the project!

Alex, that's not true, think about how useful the Scarab Temple would be as a Stygian temple.  I mean, really.  Or perhaps the Silent Garden as the home of a Devout ambush.  You need a little more imagination I think :D

heheh, well, if I'd played Chronopia in the last 5 years, or any miniatures game at all in the last 6 months, I might be more tempted.  They are very nice.

Well he actually made it.  And Alex, I know exactly what you mean, I have started making Jewelry instead of painting miniatures because I never use them, they just collect around my desk, my basement, my living room, my entry way, well, everywhere.

I bought these because Chris is awesome.  I have no use for them actually.

I also bought some, glad he made it.  I can't wait until they arrive.  He does fantastic work and since I supported him at the $100 level, I've got just about every map he currently has available coming to me.

Mean't to post when they arrived but the work is gorgeous.  The adventure that came with it is well thought out as well and fairly easily convertible to any RPG system although designed for D&D.  He also has a website with some sci-fi maps that would be excellent for indoor Warzone battles as well as some pretty cool outdoor ones as well.  The Badlands would work great as a Mars combat zone.
