wargames factory shock troops

Is any one getting the new Shock Troops from Wargames Factory?  I actually have some on their way to me over here... given some of the guns look like shotguns, I plan on a dark slayer army again....

While I haven't purchased any, I paid close attention to the months of quibbling on what they should look like.  They are extremely nice figs!

I expect they will be extremely popular with the 40k crowd.
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

I plan on getting a few boxes of them.  In my mind they kinda remind me of the Crimson Guard action figures of Cobra from the cartoon G.I. Joe.  I plan on painting up quite a few of them in that red/black & silver color scheme.  If only I could find a plastic torso that would look more like their uniform.

Anyway,  I plan on using them for a squad of zombie slayin' Shock Troopers in friendly skirmish games.

And just because it needs to be said...

Ahem.  Observe the artistry...

COBRA LA LA LA LA!!!!!!

It's the 'LA' that sets it apart from the ordinary.
