The Warstore - how are they?
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:40:47 PM »
As the title says, how is the Warstore to deal with? I'm thinking of making an order, but would like to know how they rate in terms of customer service, responses, shipping time etc?

It's been a while since I've ordered from them now. But I've ordered from them several times over the years with absolutely no problems.

I did buy a really nice mini carrying case from them at Gencon last year.

I ordered from them about a couple of years ago, and I don't remember any problems.

I do business with them now and also as Excelsior back in the old days.  I found them very personable and responsive both then and now, with a nice selection and great customer service.  I doubt there will be any issue with your order. If you did have any, Neil will make sure it is right.  He also ships pretty quickly if that matters.  Give them a try.

Thanks for the info, guys.  I was also checking comments on them from www.theminiaturespage.com too, which seem to be in the positive light.

I just ordered from them yesterday, and already I got an email saying my order was mailed today.  That is superfast!  Communication has also been good, so they are getting a thumbs up from me.

They are too good... They make me want to spend more money than I should. ;)

I have made 20+/- orders from them and only one was a little off.  I was able to catch the problem  on the order/e-mail confirmation though and gave them a ring on the phone and they fixed it immediately.  I would like to quickly point out that it may have been the way I explained the primary order and it may have confused them.

Overall,  The War Store is great and is the first stop I make when buying minis.  Two thumbs up with a great big ol smile. ;D
