What do you consider to be the best aspect of the Chronopia rules?  The worst?

This game has a fantastic set of rules to go with an incredible storyline.  That's why people are still playing this game when we could buy Warmachine, Warhammer, 40K, etc.  The game maximizes strategy and luck at the same time.  Double blind deployment with unit cards!  Alternating activation insures the game stays balanced between you and your opponent.  These and the  Wait option are probably the most important/best aspects of the rules set.

Best; Overall game mechanics and turn flow are very good imo.

Worst; In the 1st edition missle fire was too powerful. I think however, that they over - corrected in the 2nd edition.
It IS as bad as you think it is and they ARE out to get you!!!

I disagree--if you play Blackbloods, get a unit of Orc Assault Warriors with a Standard of Vitality.  They will change your opinion of a powerful missile unit.

I think it depends on the race (and armor) you play...if your are SoK, you're lost...in my last pbem with Ruther I gave him 3 or 4 HOAs and all I got was one wound on an ogre...ok, I got some swordsmen, too...

On the other side, if your opponent is able to HOA you, you have done something wrong...I'm always told that Chronopia is a game of terrain... ;)

just ym two cents...
