« on: November 05, 2009, 11:51:22 PM »
An Imperial Sky Cutter carrying valuable intel have been shot down behind enemy lines-- An incision team of wolf pack troopers supported by a Blood Beret paratrooper force have been sent in to retrieve it.  However Dark Legion forces have also converged on the area scouring for the fallen aircract.

Special Rules: This is a Night Fight.  DL (Algeroth) has more pts than the Imperial player.  DL may delpoy anywhere on table top.  Imperial may then pick a side and deploy there-- Imperial must find Intel-- There are 3 pieces of intel - A dozen counters will be spread around the table - 5 will have X's - to represent the intel.  A model in base to base with a counter may take 1 action to flip the counter - The player who gains the most intel wins.

About the forces-- Since I had more pts last time - we gave Matt the extra this time.

Dave - I always wanted to do a lean and mean elite force - I thought the wolfpacks were perfect for this.  We had originally planned to do a rush through scenario - see how many men you can get across the board with - but after some discussion it transmogrified into the intel scenario above.

Matt - I've been watching a lot of zomibe flicks lately - so I was jonesing to play some DL troopers - My last foray with Semai didn't satify my thirst for "creaturey" creatures - Also have been jonesing to test drive the bio-giant.  I like the treasure hunt aspect of the this scenario and I'm hoping my numbers will help me reach more of the objectives more quickly!

No grunt squads? Nice idea to avoid the cannon fodder and to send just the tough guys into the battle.

This is going to be good.

Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

We wanted a specialty team for imperial which is why we spared them the grunt squad limitations.
