I met a celebrity
« on: October 21, 2009, 11:14:58 AM »
I was on a business trip to London earlier this week and when I arrived on Heathrow I saw a face I thought I recognized. So I had to go up and ask and it turned out I was right. It was Andrew Fletcher one of the guys from Depeche Mode.

I am a huge Depeche Mode fan so it was really cool to get a chance to say hello and chat a bit with him. He was a really cool and laid back guy who took the time to talk a fan. I didn't ask for an autograph since I didn't have anything good for him to sign but I did get to take a picture.

I'm still a bit stunned by the whole thing.  ;D

What's cooler is that he is probably telling all hhis friends that he met a fan named Andreas in the London airport that was cool and talked instead of trying to rip a suvenier off his body  ;D

You've got something to hide.
You should have hidden it shouldn't.
Now you are not satisfied, by what you've been put through.

That was cool.

That band was the soundtrack to a lot of rutting with chicks with dyed black hair.  Good times.  Glad one of our crew could take the time to chat with him, and vice versa.

Sounds like a good time.  Nice to talk to performers and let them know that they are doing someting we can enjoy.

Thanks Coil!!  That brought back some good memories.  I had a bunch of good music on vinyl but sadly sold all that when I was a derelict rock n' roller.  I'm kicking myself now.
