« on: September 22, 2009, 09:58:30 AM »

With the right equipment (decal paper, sealant and a good ink-jet printer), and the right grapics program, one can make their own decals.  I have not, yet, been very successful with it, but I would like to hear from those that were.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Actually, the paint sets with the included decal sheets are still for sale from PA. I've bought a few of them and the colours are still acceptable for painting and the decals are nice to have.

I just checked and they only have Chrinopia items - sigh - if anyone has them still let me know.

I would be interested in decals.   If you can round up some details, I am sure we can get a "bulk" order together.

Another thing to consider; download the sigils from the web, put them on a power point or similar slide then print it off on decal paper.  Seal it with gloss spray coat and viola! your own decals.
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

I had tried that but with Adobe Photoshop and could not get the decals to come out crisp, I will have to look into power point though.

If this guy can do them and at a decent price I will just go that way and he will be able to do the white printing also.  In addition the decals should be pre cut slides.

Hello:

Would like some input on this...

I have a guy working on the decals, he is saying that the decals will be about 50 4mm per sheet.

I have sent various decals from all of the 5 big Corps. now because of the size issue I had suggested to him doing a sheet for each corp or even 2 per sheet.

Here is a sample of what I sent to start on:

The sample is small but it includes several for Capitol - including various departments, Bauhaus which includes the various houses, Imperials with various Depts. and Cybertronic which includes their standard and one for their security forces.

Mishima I only found 2 for them as well. Now I figured the first or standard decals for each corp I would get the most of and then the others just a coupld per sheet, in addition there will be 8mm ones for vehicles as well.

Also he is saying these are going to be about $5.00 per sheet so how many would you guys commit to? any other thoughs?

I know I have lot of troopers waiting for these decals!

Thanks
