To my knowledge, Wedge (Troy) was running UWZ and someone else was running Chronopia.  If nothing else, my friend and I plan on being there with a lot of Chronopia.

What day would the event be on?  Is there anywhere it would say how many points, and what would be needed?  I only have a few dwarves, so I doubt I could get a force worthy of using at an event.  Also, is painting an issue?

Well, last year it was on Sat.  Wedge had the rules set as a 750 point army with at least 2 colors on it.  No more than one of any individuals costing over (I believe) 87 points.  Not sure about this year  as I haven't spoken with Wedge since the site transfer.  I just built my force on last years rules....Dwarves also ;D   That's my best guess

Just scored a crapload of dwarves at a store yesterday, got plenty to start an army now!  As long as they don't need to be painted I shoudl hopefully be able to swing an army.  I have the old army book though, I hope that'll work.   :-\

Check out the same post in the warzone section.  There might not be any 'official' games this year.  but you could play all the pick up games you wanted.

O.K., Wedge may not make it to SoCal.......Bummer, that's life.  Nothing official planned to my Knowledge sooooo.....my friend Art has like 12,000 pts of BB he really wants to feild all at once.  I thhink I can take him......with a LOT of help ;D, Max I can field is about a 4000 pt DT Dwarf army (I, personnally am not that picky about paint)  If anyone is interested, we plan on being there Fri. , Sat., and Sun. Morning .  We have acces to all the Armies, But limited carrying Space as we may be bringing some terraine too.  So Anyone up for a slaughter?

I just counted, and I only have about 2000 pts worth of dwarves.  I'd like to snag about 500 more before too long, but that may not happen.  Either way, that's my contribution to the anit-BlackBlood effort.  Although that would only bring us up to half  his army at 6000pts.  Got 6000 points of anything else to side w/ the dwarves?  :o

Here's what I have (Chrono) that I can bring to GenCon SoCal.

Dwarves
Horned One Warshields (Leader, Musician, Standard, 5xWarrior) 443 pts
 Keeper (Horned Ones) 110 pts
Keeper (http://www.jeffvalentstudios.com/pnuke/index.php?module=PayPalCart&func=detail&pid=94&offset=0    A proxy, but too cool not to use.  Mine isn't painted so brightly.  Dark Tusk) 115 pts
Dwarven Fire Thrower Team 63 pts
Dark Star Warriorsx8 (not 100% painted yet) 280 pts
Blood Bone Flayers (Leader, 6xWarrior) 233 pts
Axe Horn Warriors (Leader, 7xWarrior) 306 pts
 Horn Skull Champion 73 pts
Horned One Legion (Leader, Standard, 5xWarrior) 243 pts
Horned One  Totem (primed white) 130 pts
 Vulture Impaler (proxy) 60 pts
Vulture Mallet Warriors (bare naked metal, 8xWarriors) 320 pts
Blood Bone Warhammers (proxies, 4xWarriors) 152 pts
 Horned One Raider 95 pts
Vulture Talon Lord (I think he's floating around, unpainted) 64 pts
 Vulture Marksman (proxy) 67 pts
2x old style Totems (1 painted, 1 not, guess they are both horned one totems too) 260 pts
Horned One Spearmen (Leader, 6xWarrior) 296 pts

I think that's it for Dwarves.  Of course, they'll need to be put together into a legal force to hit the table.  3300 ish points above.  Unfortunately, unless we do a really late night game THU is my only 'free' day as I have reg'd for stuff on the other days during the regular hours.
