Wrathraven's Armies
« on: July 09, 2009, 06:51:46 AM »
Hi, I 'm new to this forum but I 'm collecting Chronopia figures since 1998, first only the Firstborne, and now i have all the other armies. Unfourtunately i have little time for painting and sculpting, but i hope U would like some of my work. Less talk, more pisc... so here come some individual models:

Little weapon swap, 4 me looks ok:

And this is going to be Troll Deathseeker

Hope U all like it.

And one more thing:

If U dont like the kittens think of something else ;)
PS: Sorry 4 my English, not used it 4 too long

Good stuff!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

I will try to be careful for the kittens.

What city do you live in? Is there a large Warzone/Chronopia crowd there?

I'm from Warsaw, Poland. We got here like 10 players, but near Warsaw there is another little city where is another 10, and we gather players from whole country once every year. There is much more Warzone players thou and many of Chronopia players also play Warzone.

It might be a shame, but i didnt play Warzone yet- the bows/swords/axes and so on are closer to me than guns. I like the Chronopia 4 the storyline and need 4 close combats...

I think you would be surprised how much CC can happen in Warzone with the right armies.

Hands down favorite ... the "Enlightened".  The mask is incredible with crisp colors.  The loin cloth is very good and with the "fluffy" background checker board pattern it makes me sigh in resignation knowing I don't have the steady hand required to do that type of painting justice to the model.

The Iron guard was a close second with the converted Repulsar Knight running close behind.  Well done.  One question:  What brand of paint did you use on that "Enlightened"...good stuff.

I will keep an eye out for future postings from you.
Total models painted for the year 2011: 14

<The Goal: exceed 534 painted models in one year>
*End Date: Dec. 25th 2011*
2010- 294 (fail)

Thank You, comments like this force me to paint some more... The truth is that i've painted maybe 20 minis in my life, maybe more, but every time after finishing i was washing down all the paint, becouse i thought it was ugly painted. Now even if i'm not happy in what i have done, i just paint another one, becouse even poor painted mini looks 100 times better on the battlefield than te unpainted one...

Here comes closer look on Chronomancer:

And Lord D:

And i still got problems with doing fine bases :(
