Robotech/Macross 1/200 scale stuff
« on: March 28, 2009, 04:51:15 PM »
Been picking at doing a Robotech 1/200 scale setup.  I have some official Veritechs, and am unable to get the Zentradi Battle Pods as they are very rare and expensive, so I came up with a cheaper solution.  Mechwarrior Clix.  I took the Night Stalker and hacked off the arms and top turret, then I repainted the whole thing.  here are my results:

And this is what it is supposed to look like:

Anyways, if you guys are interested, I'll keep the post up to date as I work on it.  I just need about 11 more Night Stalkers . . . . .  Good thing they are very cheap.

Not bad; if nothing else you can come up with a decent back story for it!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

A fleet of Zentradi were isolated from the primary fleet hundreds of years ago, they became an independent entity able to reproduce, fix and engineer new equipment as there old stuff became damaged.  This is their solution to the old design of the battle pod.

Thanks.  There are far more details in my post on TMP.

Also, here is my Glaug, though it is not as nice as I'd like it to be, I think it still does the trick very well.

First, I gotta say that the paint jobs are friggin sweet!

Second, I have a few Mechwarrior Clix that you're welcome to have.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Really nice figs and paint jobs.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!
The entire Capitol Army.
Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.

Reinforcments have arrived:

The tanks I got many multiples of, and I got some multiples of a couple of those mechs as well.  I have already started the hacking and painting on the battle pods and the Rifleman/Defender.
