More Dark Legion Delights
« on: February 13, 2009, 03:21:31 PM »
Here are my Calistonians and Mr. happy tongue, the sandman himself, Bhalaeron--

Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!

There'll Be No Dancin' when this guy gets home!

Conqueror shmonqueror as long as I'm rich.

On a personal note: I'm really pleased with these - they look wintery (I have a weak spot for winter terrain, don't ask me why) and I like the way
they feel like a unit of very alien stalkers.

Am I hard enough, am I tough enough, am I sick enough....YES!

Nice-the weapons are espcially clean!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

Haha. Great comments.  :D

The minis look really good as well! I love the "bleached bone(?)". It's one of those colors that works on almost everything (the other one being Terracotta).

Yeah - I love terracotta - see my Karnos for a sample!  ;D

In all fairness on the infiltrators - the weapons y'all are admiring were painted by my buddy Dave - I cannah take credit for his genuis.  You could kinda say it was a combined effort.   :P :o ;D

@Nighthawk - For bonus Karma - can you name what each different reference based on?

I'm personally partic. fond of the drooling Alien-esque tongue on B-boy.

Hmmmm. you mean what the weapons are based on? I can only guess... Codex Grey or Fortress Grey? Or it's the new foundation paint.. Though I might have misunderstood your question!  ;)

Isn't the last comment from a Rolling Stones song. (Great song by the way, though I don't know the title).

I know when I was painting up my tester for my Stygian army, the song "Do the the Hustle" came on and I had visions of my Stygian troops all wagging their tails in sync with the music and then in a sudden rush to join battle, they all start doing the hustle dance towards the enemy.

Yeah, I know.  I really should get out more. ::)

Heading over to the Australian and Hawaiian internationals, and then me and Mick are going to wing on over to London and jam with the Stones.

Edit: Just to get something straight. This is just a movie quote...  :P

Great painting, and your commentary is good for a laugh whilst trapped in this office/hellhole.

Now I'm thinking of the Spinal Tap song.  Oh no!!!!

I think you may be right Alpha -- from the cartoon where Bugs and Daffy meet the genie.
