Not really -- if you knew my cousin you would know that before she got her braces she looked like a Karnophage.

And now?  Wait for it......

Wow, I didn't know you had that power, TK!  Too cool!  I did feel a little bad about hijacking the thread, but it isn't the first I've seen waylaid on these boards.

Weird Science.  How many times did I watch that back in the day.  They don't make'em like they used to.

Dude....  You watched it for Kelly LeBrock.  Admit it...

If only real weird science could do that.

Finally!!!

Dude, I was hoping someone would catch the reference!  I was *this* close to adding "He pukes, you die!", followed by "What an a-hole.  Anyone with a haircut like that has got to be an a-hole."

Man, that movie has some great lines!

Hmmm, the last time I saw Kelly LeBrock was on one of those fat celebrities trying to lose weight shows, along with Screech (or some other horrible actor/comedian).  It's kind of like Tawny Katain (sp?) from the Whitesnake videos.  You always want to remember them on their heyday, not as they currently are.

"Hey man, maybe she likes malakas!"

A few years after that came out I went to my LGS in Manhattan and the kid who played the lead (not A. Michael Hall, the little guy) was working there.  Weird.  Hollywood is a fickle beotch.

That movie was the first dialogue in which I heard farts referred to as "air-biscuits."

AIR BISCUITS!
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Yeah, that kiddo hung out with friends of mine at KU (University of Kansas).  He was gone by the time I attended.  I heard he really hated being a celeb, if a minor one.

"In the family jewels?"

"The family jewels..."

I'd forgotten about air biscuits.  Classic.

Uhm....Someone would catch the reference.....I quoted the movie in my response. And I quoted a famous Sci-Fi character in the post previous. A character famous in lit, radio, televison and movies. My kudos and a karma point to the first one to correctly get it.

You're right!  Reading it totally threw me off!  It reads much less maniacal than it was delivered in the movie.

Douglas Adams's Hitch-hiker's Guide, but I'm not sure who said it.

Sorry, the answer must be a character

I cannot remember if it was Ford Prefect or Zaphod Breeblebox

Google, don't fail me now!
