Warzone Proxies
« on: January 24, 2009, 07:50:18 AM »
Hello

Think I found some good proxies for blight commando's  a little work and the machine gunner could be a tainter specialist the guy with the LMG could be a blight commando SGT. Look good too.

If it's Reaper, I use www.miniature-giant.com.  26% (or more) per fig or pack, plus free USA shipping.  Int'l orders are actual shipping cost.  I made an order late Friday night and received the order Monday.  Nice!!!  They also have a code to get $2.95 off of orders over $25:  loyal2mg.  Considered them officially 'pimped', but not shilled.

Those proxies are just about perfect.  Just need a spike for the top of the helmet.

Has anyone ever thought about the new (relatively) pre-painted rackham AT-43 stuff as proxies, since the minis themselves are really nice quality and saves alot of trouble of painting things, plus the scale is pretty much on par with warzone and GW

Karma to you Petru5; great tip on saving money.  I love Reaper stuff but it's just a touch pricey.
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

You're welcome.  I'm a cheapskate, so if I can pass along savings, I'll happily do so!
