My daughter
« on: December 30, 2008, 07:21:17 PM »
My daughter Audrey had to be admitted to the hospital again. Her red blood cell count was very low and she had to have a transfusion. She is doing well, but the wife and I are very worried about what could be the cause. The doctors are running some tests, but it might be a bit before we know what needs to be done as far as treatment goes. We are still in the hospital, but hope to be discharged within the next couple of days. My daughter could really use some thoughts and prayers.

Thanks all,

Scott

In my thoughts, Spagg.  Hope all works out well.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

I'll pray that they quickly find the root cause and that said cause is easily fixed.  Your little girl will be up and running around in no time!

Thanks everyone, we really appreciate your good thoughts and prayers.

Audrey is doing very well. The doctors still aren't completely sure what is causing the anemia, but luckily it isn't life threatening with proper monitoring of her hemoglobin. We are hopeful we can take her home tomorrow. I'll let everyone know more as I do.

Sorry to hear she is ill-it's always tough when your children are sick.

I hope the best for you all, my daughter is also having some (much more minor) problems, and the frequent visits can be pretty annoying and frustrating, but I trust she'll be just great in no time.  I swear kids have regenerative properties.
