Vahl'Dredd & Lackey

Hi again. I have a new question ???:

Vahl'Dredd (pg. 466) is accompanied by Lackey, a Child of Ilian bearer of his sword. The rules (pg. 146) state that Lackey gives +2 LD but I am not sure if such bonus is already included in Vahl'Dredd's profile or it must be added whereas Lackey is present (i.e. not prevented a physical wound) giving a total LD of 17  8)

Any comments/suggestions?

I assume that if the lackey must be present then it is not included in his profile.

Veez is correct. While the lackey lives it confers the bonus. ;D

Val'Dred is a great fig - combine him with Salandria or Karak and you have some scary folks on the field (word of advice tho' - use your cover well!)
