Redemption Harnes (Mishima) + Wait Action?

Redemption Harnes (Mishima) + Wait Action?

Is it possible? It states: "if attackt in cc .. will set of with next action".
therefore no new activation is needed, just an action.

IF yes, then how? can i use the wait to interrupt the charge with exlosion, in analog to just shooting?

From a wait you can countercharge. As far as shooting the Faceless dont have guns.

I agree with Phil.  The intent is that the Harness is the CC weapon, therefore, a countercharge is an Attack Action (pulling the rip-cord) with the bonus of movement.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

I concur.  Otherwise, you are limiting a model that is already very limited.

thanks for the replies.

it does state in the rules however that it is a specialized action to set it of, not a charge (i understood).

to use a (counter)charge will improve the template-"placement"-range from 8ī to 12ī

It has as I as I know always been played as part of the attack action. When you charge you can make a CC attack, hense the roll to see if he blows himself up. The special action is if he is attacked in CC or Routs he auto-explodes on his next action. Also I dont know where your getting 8 to 12 inches movement for templete placement on a counter-charge. A countercharge is only meeting your opponent halfway, maybe 1 to 3 inches.

that was badly said. i ment, in a round he can only move 2x (8ī) when he wants to explode (or later via wait).
when he can move with the 3. A (counter)charge this will add +4ī compared to not allowing the explosion with movement.

the countercharge thing has an other advantage as well, allowing him to move further to the enemy in their round before going bom.

also, no auto-explosion i think. he needs to roll

Page 297 under Faseless for the auto-explode on next action. Also Countercharge is not the full 4 inch move, it's meeting an opposing charge halfway.

Hi,

just to clarify it to me... Faceless can make 3 move Actions ( last one a charge ) and then explode with the Harness ? because DMCGEE1 said that itīs a CC Weapon...

And can Facesless make a Charge, but they donīt choose to Explode and make no damage ( but they are then in CC )

last one is a Strange Question, but sometimes it make really sense :)

Faceless faceless faceless....

Last ACTION activities....  (As explained by Archer using Gallows Humor)

Move ("Must get to place of Redemption...  must live to get to Gaijin lines...")
Go on Wait. ("Come to your doom Gajin")
Counter-charge ("You will not interrupt my brothers on their mission of Redemption, Gaijin!!")
the usual Charge ("I will be REDEEMED!!!  I am coming home to you, my flower, with the blood of two Gaijin!!)

In all cases, it involves a roll.  Because its considered a CC act, this covers the activation on a charge, a counter-charge or a wait action.

Does it make sense now? :):):)

The only thing I don't understand is how the good ones make it through practice!
