You're gonna make me weep.  My order from Fantization is apparently lost in the mail.  I've got them coming as I really like Tre Manor's sculpting and watched him develop over the last few years.  Go Tre!!

Brigade Games has some cool minis that I'd like to se statt-ed out, and almost the entire Celtos line would look good next to Chronopia figures (if a bit small).
I think that quite a few of the Celtos minis could go straight into Chronopia as is. The barbarian types into SOK and the elves into the elves. Base it on weapon on the mini, elf with bow is an elven archer, etc.

Since we know that Thom plans to support various miniature lines with the new rules (whatever they may be), what lines would you like to see new support for?

Here is mine:
Crucible
Deep Goblins by Alpha Forge Games
Forge of Ice figures (whatever they may be :D )
Cyclop's Forge (If he does new stuff as well)
Generic Fantasy Oriental (Rokugan stuff)
Also some Generic Fantasy Lists that we can fill in, maybe some plug and play units that have optional abilities for customization.

Admin Edit:  Feel free to provide links to these suggestions!!!

wow i'm outta the loop!  Where is this news about a new rules set?  I haven't seen anything here... geez i need to stick around more!

Mel,

I believe it will be the basic Chronopia rules.. perhaps under a new name..  The System he owns so he can do with it as he wishes.... no matter what its called.

Mel this should help.

http://forum54.oli.us/index.php?topic=5155.0

Thom has the engine that ran Chronopia and  Warzone.  As for a timetable this new project will not be ready 'til he finishes writing a lot of code!!  As for beta testing, there will be lots of models from other lines being statted out, so there is that to look forward to.

That's what's in the works anyway.

Ok lot of this isnt fansty but would love the following under Thoms system.

LEGION OF STEEL (LOS is my top choice) converted to thoms system is a marriage made in heaven.
NO really it is the perfect union.  its only 5 armies, not a whole lot of units but a whole lot of character that could really shine under thoms rules system....i would snatch this up in a heart beat.
nice thing theres plenty of other mini lines that could proxy for Legion fo steel easily.
Hell a cardbord cutouts on mini bases would work.
part of me always wished that Thom did legion of steel rather then warzone.
such a kool line of minis and fluff

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAT OUT VOR. (my second choice)
Vor minis are still being made (Iron wind metals) and the marriage of vor mini line with thoms ruleset would be.....Well it just be to damn sexy.

Others:

Pulp minis has a very nice line.  US ROCKET RANGERS.....nuff said

there are some great plastics being sets being made at 28mm by warlord. Romans boxsets and celts boxset.

hasslefree's Grimm "dwarves in space"....kev is a mini making god. He's also itchn to have a system married to his minis

I would like to see generic list with a option to select weapons. everything from lowly goblin to "MAN in POWER ARMOR"
example: goblin 5pts. w/spear 2pts  w/sword 1pt etc etc.
maybe have various levels of said unit. This would allow greater level to custom tailor a list to any given mini line.
example: goblin 5pts  elite goblin 7pts leader goblin 10pts

or maybe just one generic armory were any race can choice from. everything from pointy stick to hand held blaster.

on a sidenote:
Thom could make cardboard cutouts to go with any list he makes....I know he wants to stay out of pewter side of the business.

I'm thinking Otherworld miniatures would fit the bill nicely. The figures are pretty old-school style rpg miniatures, particularly nice are the pig-faced orcs and the hobgoblins he's working on now. From the greens they look very simple and easy to paint up, with a selection of weapons and posing.

I'd certainly like something to use my Black Hat Tales of the Dragon King minis with. I've got my own house rules, Hi-Keeba!!!, using old Siege of the Citadel dice and some... maybe they're Heroquest dice but they're so light I could really use some beefy martail arts rules.
Currently playing:
Bow House: Saggy Old Ellie
Dark Lesion: Ill Ian, Whored
Empirical: I D... Ef' Em

It's rumored that a fellow Legions of Steel fanatic has been looking into that very thing.  ;D
