*takes a bow*

Thankew, thankewveddymuch... :)

The project has definitely made me optimistic about selling my own miniatures.  Of course, with the Sebeki, I have to be very careful to not profit from it in any way, so when I start paying myself for my time and effort, as well as hopefully enough profit to pay for the next miniature, I'll have to charge quite a bit more than that!

My fried Tyson, the man who sculpted the Sebeki, has really appreciated all the feedback, too.  He's not an internet kind of guy, but I showed him the threads and some of the comments people made, and it really energized him.

I'm looking forward to seeing painted versions!

Now a few more people just have to send me payment so I have enough $$ to cover the cost of casting, and I can put him in the mail to the casting company...

Here's a quick update for folks who missed it on the Croc forums and TMP - I got an email from the caster today - he expects to have the Sebeki finished in about a week, and will mail them to me as soon as they're done.  So, figure a week for the mail get here, another few days for me to sort things out and start mailing packages... if all goes well, everyone should have their Sebeki in their mailboxes in about a month (end of November-ish!).

And the Sebeki Crypt Lord is here!  I got a big box of finished castings in the mail - I should have everyone's packages in the mail by Friday.  You can check out the pics in the thread at the Crocodile Games forums, and there should be a news item on TMP shortly.

Hmm, I received this strange miniature in the mail today, some sort of ugly Crocodile thing?  Maybe a Devout Stygian creature of some sort?

I suppose I'll have to paint it now.

Um... nope, just the axe.

The miniature that it is a homage to, the Croc Mascot, comes with a mace, and the axe is the same size - they're interchangeable, but my project only comes with the axe.

Apologies if I ever posted anything misleading on the subject - I thought I'd been clear that you only got what was pictured in the pics of the green.

Oh, that must have been the confusion, anyways, it is not a big deal in any way, I wanted to use the axe anyways.
