PAINTBALL SEPT 13th NEWARK DE
« on: August 15, 2008, 03:28:10 AM »
Hey all its Jon DeMare. I have not been on in a really long time. Family has expanded threfold with a Baby, Dog and House over the last 1 1/2 years.

But I digress.

I am hopeing to put together a Paintball outing on Sat Sept 13th in Newark DE. This is a Im want to extend the invite out to all the EE forum buddies. It will be 35$ per person ( mask, marker, 200 paintbals and loader) if you have your own gear its $15. The more the better. Only cath is if you say you are going and do not show you will need to cover $15 no show fee they have. So Im trying to get an idea as to how many would like to and be able to go.

Please email me if you can or respond to this post. I will check back in 1 week from today for numbers and then reserve the space.

here is a link to the Field site.  www.paintballactiongames.com

see you on the field.

Okay.  Now that Dave has been so kind, I can commit.  Not having a car has allowed me some good things, but it is a drag having to bum rides from friends.

A cup.

Or if you are smart, you don't resent them as a target.

I think he meant, "present."  I, personally, use a folded up 100% cotton t-shirt.  Serves multiple functions:  padding, impressing any paintball mavens, sweat absorption, warmth (in February, al least) - just don't go waist deep into any creeks - defeats all those purposes.

I usually sit on my helmet so I don't get me boys shot off.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

Thanks, and in all seriousness, I would like to know how best to prepare for the event.  I've not gone before, and I don't want the fellas shot; I may want to sire children one day.

I suggest the following:

Top 10 methods to protect the boys during paintball -

1. Walk backwards.
2. Attach a face mask to the area of concern.
3. Keep one hand on your gun and one hand on your weapon and repeat after me - "This is my weapon this is my gun. One is for fighting one is for fun.
4. Take some drugs before the match, ride a horse backwards thru the enemy camp and convince yourself you are in the spirit world.
5. Hope only one of the boys gets it. That way the other will still be there.
6. Invest in ping pong ball stock. (see above #5)
7. Hope the nurse is hot at the hospital.
8. Donate to a local sperm bank before the match.
9. Caste Improved Haste on yourself right before the match.
and last but not least:
10. Big sky little bullet theory.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
