Has anyone played the boardgame Dust?

I've seen it at the game store and it looks kinda interesting. But is it fun playwise?

Who makes it?  I hate dusting the house, so it doesn't sound like fun.   :P

Dust is made by Fantasy Flight games.  It gets generally good reviews over at boardgamegeek.com .

I haven't played the game myself, but I think it might be pretty good.  I am a sucker for conflict sims with dice rolling and death!

If you get a copy, let us know what you think.

I thought it was some sort of drug smuggling game...

It is by gaming I set my mind in motion. It is by Dust from FFG that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by gaming I set my mind in motion.

Fear of rolling 1's is the mind killer, the little death.  I will face my fear, I will let it flow through me and I will roll my dice..

Wow, a Dune reference.  Am I a nerd for catching it?
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

I think membership on this forum might be all the is required for Nerd-dom.

Nice use of a classic sci-fi quote to liven up the topic.

Now, I need to dig out my copy of Dune, as it has been decades since I last read it.

Veez's reference was more obscure so he gets max points and some karma. As for the answer to your question...

Veez Hal'dweeb  ;)  ;D

"My plan"

"Your plan!?"...

"The plan"

Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!
The entire Capitol Army.
Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.
