Two Razides
« on: August 05, 2008, 01:24:38 PM »
Here are two Razides I did up for the Dakka painting challenge. I was only allowed to enter one mini so I chose the blue one. I did these two really fast in just one night but overall I am fairly happy with how they turned out.

As always I get a little depressed when I watch them on screen and I see all the little mistakes.

If I ever finish my project of making a true 3-D Siege of the Citadel these guys will see some action.

I like the electricity effect on the blue one.  Nice use of the hirst molds too!

A Tale of Two Razides

by David "Dark Symetry" Copperfield

One day there was a little science facility owned by a bunch of people by the name of Bauhaus.  Illian wanted to make the new neighbors feel welcome, so she sent two of her Welcome Wagon volunteers to make the science team feel special....

Great job.  Both look good.  I also like the purple one.   Very nice choice of colors.

Hey! I voted for you! They both look great, but the blue one looks best.

Both look great. Good luck.

Resplendant!  Both of them.

Sweet paint job... very sweet!
I like the blue better, but that's just 'cause my razide is blue too! ;D

the blue is unique, but the thought of seeing a flesh-colored razide in real life is hella disgusting.

Thanks, guys I really like painting Razides. The muscles are quite fun to work with and practice layering with various colours.

Dog, I'm not normally that fast but I felt inspired and it was a long night. I think I finished painting around 2 am.

I kind of like using normal flesh colour on Razides. It makes them look really disgusting. On this one I still need to give it one last wash to even out the shades and highlights.

As always, Coil, sweet work, bud.  I like the blue one.  Much more dynamic pose, and the insignia came out great.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

As usual, your work is excellent, Coil. Really really nice. The "flesh colored" on is kind of disturbing though. Almost like Fatty-pr0n.....LOL!!!!

Great work.  I like both, but the more regular fleshtone one is scarier.  Good luck.
