Prayers for the West Coast Posse
« on: July 29, 2008, 10:51:43 AM »
I just heard that there was a 5.8 quake near Los Angeles, CA. I don't know how bad that is but my prayers go out to Wedge and all the other West Coast Warzone/Chronopia family who may be effected by this.

Update: From what I've seen on the news it doesn't look too bad but they are warning of possiblity of further quakes. I hope they are right and there is no major damage or injuries.

from all the reports, the quake wasn't all that bad, just a quick shock...I was listening to the Jim Rome Show on the radio at work when the quake happened and Rome was talking about it at the moment that it happened and for minutes afterward...

Was sitting outside working when I looked at my writing partner and said, can I be drunk if I didn't drink anything today???

It was trippy to say the least (lasted a good 60 seconds), but damage was neglibgible to me and those I know.

Thanks all for you well wishes.

Sigh.  So much for my dream of conquering the island of California and establishing VeezCon as its evil government.

I heard someone was palanning on hitting the fault line with a nuclear missile. He bought a lot of land on the East side of the fault line and will rename it with several cities after his name. Lutherville etc.

dudes, flee the west coast, the midwest willl accept you for now.  the 4 state militia will take you in as your own, and personally i can house many!

sure we have tornadoes, but a basement helps.  plus our women are warm and can cook, mostly.  and i personally will buy the first round for any expatriate!
