No, I lost that hand like many others. I did flop the nut strait once. I had the Ace/King flop was queen, jack, 10. No one bit on the betting I did. I hung around to the last 3-4 each game but did not cash this year.

PM Ludwig (Kevin) regarding construction of the boards.  I know he made the Swamp board, but I don't know if he did the one you're asking about.  Tell him to post!!  We'd all like to know.

The urban board is nothing more than foam-core, kitty litter, gray paint and model railroad accessories - that's it.  It is an easy board to duplicate.

The sidewalks, walls and wall debris are foam core (1/8" or 3/16"), the rubble is dry-brushed kitty litter, and the rest are light posts, street signs, hydrants at about HO scale.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Yup.  'World famous for that reason.  I was talking to Kevin about it, and when people saw it, he was getting offers for work because of it.  I think that board is the jewel in the crown of Excelsiors' boards.

After arduously putting them on photobucket, I managed to subsequently erase them from the site.  I still have them in my camera, but I think I'll just bring the dang thing to McGee's and let him work his magic.  Sigh.  :P

And looking at the pictures, I find that I'm just a small bit of the background in the four way swamp board battle. Except for one picture, I'm just a blue sleeve and hand  ;) .

But I don't care, because I had a blast playing all those whom I got a game with, and I need another Talamania just to finish off the battles that I promised but didn't get to play!  ;D ;D ;D

Fortunately, no one seems to have gotten a picture of my momentary confusion as someone introduced me to another player.  :-\ (I was trying to keep all the names and handles straight, that's my excuse.  ::) ) It took me a moment to realize I had just been introduced to Thom! :D

That was funny Craig, but be assured, I got some pictures of you at the tables, the EE crew, and everyone I could.  Sorry for the delay, I was trying to move the photos into their own albumn, when, kaplooey, they just up and went.  I'll just blame it on Vista... ;)

That jungle board is very sweet - I like the resin swamps and love the cliffs.  Kudos to whoever built it.

Craig, that was the funniest thing that happened (laughing with you) when you shook Thom's hand and went right back to your game with Dodger.  I guess we take for granted our access and location here with Thom. Glad you had a great time. I wish I could have stayed on Sunday to play another game with you but I had to go. See you next year hopefully or even sooner if you can make it to Dexcon/Dreamation (dexposure.com).

RE: Urban boards - does anyone know how the foamcore wall of the buildings were texturized?  Was it texture paint?  Sand?  Just curious
