Yea, been following this as well, awesome news!   :o

Looks like the Custom Force book is set to be one of the first releases too, that is great news.  That book was basically ready to go to print when FASA shut things down....  :'(  Hopefully they don't mess around with the original core rules too much, but I'm sure with Skuzz in the lead all will be well!  Can't wait.

Pretty excited about it myself.  It should give us hope that if we can find a sugar daddy UWZ may return.  That said, all the more reason to hate the guys at FASA that let that game die.

I played it and had a blast with it...

The first year of its release, I played a Demo at Gencon ('99 iirc) ran by Skuzzy.  Had a good time and managed to get loaned a Union force for the Tourney later that show.

Came in Second at that tourney, by a die roll.  >:(  Just as well...  as I had flown to Gencon, I had no way of getting a boxed basic game home with me on the plane.

That's exactly what I thought.  I had a great time with VOR, though it was short-lived.  But to see it come back gives me hope that Chronopia/Warzone could also make a comeback.

I'm going to have to work harder at the independently wealthy thing in order to fund such endeavors.

Played a lot of VOR games and the Growlers are just a fun race to use.  Their special abilities are extremely funny and nasty at the same time.  I love smashing the ground and watching my enemy fall all over the place.
