Dark Eden Tribes pics
« on: April 09, 2008, 10:52:10 AM »
Post painted pics of your Dark Eden forces here.  Use a direct link from photobucket or whatever place you store your pics.  If one day we get a new gallery, we can organize all the pictures accordingly.  REMEMBER TO SPECIFY SONS OF RASPUTIN, INHERITORS OF JOB, CRESCENTIA, OR THE TEMPLAR PROTECTORAGE FOR THOSE JUST TOURING OR INTERESTED IN PLAYING.
May the Dark Lords of Lead-Free Pewter smile kindly upon you.

A little late to the party, but I really like those Sons of Rasputin. Nice job.

You can always convert the cav by using some GW plastic horses and bottoms, snipping your gus off at the torso, and using green stuff for their kilts.

Or give some thought to Francesco's Lutheran Cavalry look alikes at Cyclopes Forge.

Here is my Crescentian force (so far) that I am painting furiously to try and have ready for T 5. I've been using the Army Painter Quickshade on them, and I've been pretty pleased with the results. I'm still trying to get the correct lighting down for taking pictures though.

Thanks for looking!

Don't be too concerned with the lighting; the pictures already make my best paint jobs look childish ;).

Excellent work.  I was going to try to have a Crescentian force ready, too.  Now, I want to kill those models just for looking so nice.  :)
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Thanks for the comments. The DL Dark Eden pic is interesting. I would definitely like to see more DL Dark eden stuff, as well as more Dark Eden stuff in general. I think I'm going to try making conversions for some of the 1st edition units that didn't carry over, like Capitol Wolverines.
