So, I just spent 9+ hours on the road last night, driving on the Parkway during a hellish blizzard.  That was fun.

OK, so, Battlevan 2.0, the one that replaced the ome with the door off, decided that one of it's pistons should disintigrate. (This happened a few months ago, I wasn't sure if I posted it here)

But yeah, the sound of piston bits in an engine is not a good one.

Holy crud!  What kind of junkers are you guys driving?

My worst car (if you can call it that) had problems but nothing serious like that... man I miss that Mercury Comet.  302 V-8, 3spd Auto on the column, 19" fatties on the rear and 17" on the front.  It was raised 3" in the rear with a modified lift kit and my father and I installed a supercharger from an older ford maverick (almost same engine) and cut a hole in the hood so it could breathe!

I remember having rust in the radiator, having to bleed the brakes (damn disc and drum combo), and survive a minor spinout from a flat tire but nothing like the crap you guys have described.  I guess I should feel lucky!

Well, I transfered the Cork of Power from Battlevan 1.0 into Battlecar.   Hopefully it wards off horrible explosive death.

Hmm,  I guess Jibba's next progression from the Battlecar would be: the stylish  and sleek Chickmagnet (Red), to Oh Crap, I'm Married Soccermom Mobile, to Mid-Life Crisis German  Sports Luxury Convertible with Gold Rims, to Mobile Bunker on Wheels That Takes an Entire Lane.

I guess, this is the natural evolution of things for all of us.
