Yep, yesterday the sliding door fell off of my van. :)  Thank God I was parked at the time. :p  But now I need to move all of my wargaming stuff to a new vehicle.

heh,

I did have the metal band in my tire snap while I was driving.  That was fun :)  And then I had the bearings on my tires disintigrate, so when I turned it sound like the rigging on a sailling ship.

Turn to port, Mr. Christian!!!!

I took a picture of it with my phone, I'll see if I can get it online.

How about applying the brakes and the only thing happening is that the metal plates the pads were attached to fell off the car onto the street? Or applying the brakes and having both front tires go flat cause the tires were wore completely thru? Do I qualify for the Deathmobile Hall of Fame?

I went to the shop for a viscious wobble in my front driverside tire.  The car went onto the rack and the rack went into the air, however the wheel stayed on the ground.  The only thing holding it in place was the weight of the car.

how about trying to brake, and the caliper fusing onto the rotor because the pads had worn to nothing about 2 months prior...

that car stopped and never went again...

Been there.  Done that. Still get chided about it by my "friends".

How about the rack going up in the air and the entire car staying on the ground.  I had an '92 Buick that had the frame rust out of it so badly that the rack went straight through the floor boards!  Needless to say, I no longer drive a Buick.

I had a tire fall off my aircraft.  Worse, I flew around for two hours without it then landed and taxiied back in.  Still would  not have known if it had not been caught on post-flight.

I have been in vehicles where tires have passed me going down the road.  I have also had vehicles that axles have come out and rolled into the passenger door.  I once took a trip to Wisconsin and blew 3 of the four tires,2 on the trip up and one on the return trip.  I won't mention the fourth tire that blew three weeks later or the fact that in six months two of the tires that I replaced also blew.  What about the truck that I was driving when the front axle slid back cutting the brake lines and locking the steering.  I did a nice peroet on the right front fender before settling on the right side and walking out the windshield.  Would any of these get me into this club?
