Topkick wanted to see an urban camo version of this.  Forgive the roughness (I did it in about an hour and fifteen minutes) and forgive the flash (no time to set up proper pic)

If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Great job Dave! It  would have taken me about 15 months for the same result.

Wow, you can keep a straight face when you say that?  I've seen your work, and still consider my self your student.  I appreciate the compliment, though.  Thanks, bud.

Wow...now that I really, REALLY like. I came up with a new one myself (based loosely on the painting used to break up the silos of WWII warships). It's Dark and light grey and a bluegray. Looks pretty good. I'll try to post pics soon.

The other interesting thing color-wise it that it mimics what the desert cammo would look like at night.  Imagine a night game where all the figs on both sides were painted that way to simulate the darkness.

Thanks for the compliment.  No, I would not mind if you paint your army with the scheme - go for it!

As for the desert camo on the armor, I used a light tan, a tan and a brown, and black and white for the "chips."  I then brown-washed the camouflage.  The rifle was done in the same scheme, but I used a dark black-blue for the non-camouflaged parts.  The uniform is just a tan, then brown-washed.  See this link for better pics:  http://forum54.oli.us/index.php?topic=694.0

The urban camo is, basically, identical, with a grey-blue as the base, and two darker blues for the splotches.  Again, the "chips" are black and white.  Gloves and other straps on the gear are a blue-shaded-black.  The uniform jacket is the same grey-blue, while the pants match the darker of the two blues I used on the armor.
